This ARP head stud kit is made from 8740 alloy, 200,000 psi tensile strength. It is precision centerless ground and thread rolled to MilS8879 specs. The kit includes black oxide finish studs, hardened washers, and premium grade nuts. When you are looking to build the best performing engine you can ARP hardware is a must have.  Obtaining the optimum cylinder head to block sealing is especially critical in small displacement engines employing high compression pistons or power adders like turbochargers, nitrous oxide, and superchargers.
